How to find your lingerie size (without a tailor)

Four measurements, one tape measure and ten minutes. Here is the method our fit team uses — and the three mistakes that make a well-made bra feel wrong.

Champagne lace high-waist brief on a mannequin

Most people wear the wrong bra size, and almost nobody notices, because the wrong size still “works” — it just works less well. A band that rides up, straps that dig in, cups that gap when you lean forward: these are sizing signals, not body problems.

Start with four numbers

  1. Underbust, snug around the ribcage directly beneath the bust.
  2. Bust, around the fullest part, level with the nipple line.
  3. Waist, at the narrowest point, standing relaxed.
  4. Hip, around the fullest part of your seat.

Write them down in centimetres. Our size guide converts them straight into XS–XXL.

The three mistakes

Measuring over clothes. A knit adds 1–2 cm. Measure on skin, or in a thin bra you already trust.

Pulling the tape tight. Snug, not tight — you should still be able to slide a finger under the band.

Choosing panties by your dress size. Hip measurement is the only number that matters for panties. A size M brief and a size M dress are unrelated.

When you are between sizes

Size up in bras, because a firm band is doing the supporting work and it will relax slightly with wear. Size by hip in panties. For bodysuits, check the torso length note on the product page — if you are over 172 cm, our long-torso cut is the safer choice.

Still unsure?

Email us the four numbers. Our fit team answers within 48 hours, and we will tell you honestly if we think a style will not work for your shape.
